Theo Jörgensmann – born in 1948, German clarinettist recognized as one of the best instrumentalists of the European modern jazz, he co-developed the contemporary sound of the jazz clarinet and together with Eric Dolphy and Jimmy Giuffre he is recognized as the leading clarinet player in the history of jazz in Europe.
